    Swedish massages range from light, medium to firm pressure.

    Deep tissue massage is not under this category. If you would like deep tissue, be sure to book for that specifically.

    If you book a Swedish massage, then ask for deep tissue when the massage therapist arrives, you will still be charged the additional $10 if that therapist is able to provide that service.

    This is an important detail to clarify when booking in order to ensure a massage therapist who practices deep tissue will work on you.

    Deep tissue massage is a more intense and efficient treatment for eliminating stubborn trigger points. The massage therapist will utilize their hands, knuckles, fists, elbows and forearms to conduct this service. It is normal to feel a small amount of discomfort or pain while receiving this modality of massage therapy. Feeling sore afterwards is also a common experience. Be sure to drink plenty of water before and after your session.

  • Ideal for remedying inflammation, swelling and fluid retention.

    It is highly recommended by medical doctors to receive lymphatic drainage after surgery.

    Pre-natal massage pressure typically ranges from light, medium to firm. It is at the discretion of the massage therapist whether or not deeper pressure can be applied.

    Growing a whole human is beyond a full-time job. The effects of pregnancy can be overwhelming and painful. However, this physical condition can’t stop you from getting a massage. Some assume that just because they are pregnant, they can’t reap the benefits of bodywork. That is not the case. Many massage therapists practice prenatal massage, which caters to the future mommy.
